Blythe Clean-up Day collects over five tons of garbage

BLYTHE, Calif. - Nearly 175 people helped collect over five tons of municipal solid waste Feb. 22 as part of the Blythe Chamber of Commerce sponsored Blythe Clean-up Day.

Starting at 6 a.m. Saturday, volunteers gathered trash, cleared lots, and painted the gazebo all before 12 p.m. when participants received lunch provided by Subway Restaurant.

All participants also received commemorative Blythe Clean-up Day t-shirts.

Wow! only 4 comments! When some idiot gets arrested, the morons in this town blow up the page with their rediculous opinions. But here you have something great happen and only 4 people have something to say??
Well, I say "Good Job" Blythe! Thank You to all 175 who participated in this effort to clean up this town!!
