BLYTHE - The Blythe Collaborative of Prevent Child Abuse Riverside County would like to remind families to kick off their summer and attend the third annual Summer Safety Extravaganza on June 8 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. The event will again be held at the Colorado River Fairgrounds.
Children and parents will be provided with a day of free of water fun with water slides, games, dunk tank, Penelope the Clown, hot dogs, refreshments, and many toys and prizes. Many local agencies will be there to provide information on heat and water safety, as well as providing families with information on how to detect, prevent and report child abuse. Free transportation will be provided by Palo Verde Valley Transit (760) 922-4900.
